Just now on CNN John King did a segment with James Carville and Ed Rollins.

During the segment King did his best to paint President Obama as a popular guy that the voters like and trust but have no faith in his stimulus program by saying 67% of people did not think the stimulus plan would help.  He performed this trick with a very impressive slight of hand.

The graphics included were...

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as president?

Approve 67%

Do you think that bill will or will not result in a significant improvement in your own personal financial situation?

NO 67%

What's more important than what King included is what he didn't include from the same CNN poll.  I think it was an obvious attempt to paint of picture of no confidence knowing most people would not take the time to read the actual poll.

See the "trick" below the fold..

The results EXCLUDED by King

You may know, Congress passed and President Obama has signed a bill that will attempt to stimulate the economy by increasing federal government spending and cutting taxes at a total cost to the government of about eight hundred billion dollars. Based on what you have read or heard about this, do you favor or oppose that bill?

Favor bill 60%

Do you think that bill will or will not result in a significant improvement in the nation's economy?

Significant improvement 53%

Do you see what he did, he substituted will "your" situation change for will the "national" situation change.  That argument is easier to make if you ignore the parts of the CNN poll excluded by King.  He purposely left his viewers with the impression that 67% of people don't think the stimulus program will help, which not what CNN's own poll says.  I guess John just doesn't ignore the polls on debate nights.
